SELF-PORTRAIT

MEDIUM: Acrylic marker on canvas

SIZE: 80 x 120 cm

DATE: 2020

This self-portrait is one of my early works when I first began using canvases. Much like a puzzle, each individual piece contributes to a pattern that represents who I am today. When these pieces are separated, it becomes challenging to grasp the bigger picture, leaving only the surface behind. In essence, this self-portrait serves as a metaphor for the various facets of life coming together to shape my being, often having an unconscious control over the individual.
