The goddess Oshun represents purity, fertility, love, and sensuality in the Yoruba religion. Here, I wanted to portray her as such, incorporating my own elements into the painting. With water flowing through her dress, the stream begins its journey from the mountains to reach her hand, enriching the earth with fertility before completing its cycle. Her eyes are closed, and her right arm extends into the air, also symbolizing freedom, hope, and strength.
