Here, I've chosen to paint a region in Switzerland called Lavaux, renowned for its vineyards. My aim was to ensure a clear diagonal division between the vineyards and the other elements depicted in the painting while maintaining a sense of unity across the canvas. I wanted the green and yellow vineyards to blend in with the blue colours of the lake, mountains, and sky, leaving only the contrasting orange houses to emphasize the diagonal separation. Additionally, I concentrated on capturing movement in nature, particularly in the depiction of the lake and mountains.
