Powerful and mysterious in the Mayan culture, 'Balam,' which means jaguar in English, continues to hold great significance in Mexico to this day. In this artwork, I aimed to capture the jaguar in a relaxed state, while maintaining its awareness and alertness to its surroundings. Additionally, I sought to depict the vivacity of the jungle, using vibrant colours to portray a realm where life and nature are untouched. Its composition is organized, yet chaotic.
